We encourage our clients to always use recycled paper for their leafleting by offering special or additional discounts and offers on their follow up orders when they choose to print their leaflets on sustainable materials such as recycled paper.
At the time of receiving all and any marketing materials for distribution we will grade the sustainability of the materials used, the packaging and where possible the transportation impact. We will keep records of every grading to enable us to assess the further effect of our work to the community and the environment. We publish our findings in our annual sustainability report and will make it available online.
Where clients have chosen for any reason not to use sustainable packaging, materials and transportation for their leaflet distribution with us, we will set aside 2% of our net profit from each of these orders. We deposit all revenues in our Sustainability Projects bank account and use these to fund our various international environmental and sustainability efforts. We assist in research into improving sustainability, sustainable development and environmental impact across the planet with the participation and direct involvement of our staff and senior management. Such projects include funding research into improving paper recycling, plastics, current practices across different countries and communities, research on climate change caused by pollution in the air on land and the oceans, promoting health and sustainable living and development within vulnerable or indigenous communities whose traditional lives have been endangered by modernisation and industrialisation. We also encourage volunteering in conservation, clean-up and other projects.
We produce regular and annual publications on all sustainability and environmental projects as well as funding we have made available.
We encourage our own employees, senior management and contractors to participate in such projects by allowing them to take time off from work whether paid, unpaid or partially funded and sponsoring their participation. This is based on pre-approved projects and funding and on pre-approved rotas based on their position and the impact of our work.
We have a particular interest in funding projects that research the use and improvement of the use of alternative fibres other than tree fibres and the impact of such a change on a global scale within forestry and indigenous groups.
